Some good stuff tonight

Out of 5 rolls of Lincoln cents, I pulled a 1952-D wheat and 25 pre-1982 coppers (10%).  The '52-D was so worn you can barely see the wheat stalks - but you know me, I keep all the wheats.

I also went through 10 rolls of nickels.  I pulled a '41-S which I didn't need so am releasing back into the wild and a '53-D which I did need.  I also pulled out a 1970-S which has got me somewhat stumped.  The mintmark is in a different place than my other example.  Because of the lustre, I thought it might be have been a proof that someone started circulating, so I pulled out my 1970 Proof Set to compare.  It matched my other example as well.  I'll put up some pictures tomorrow when I set up the camera again.

On a much brighter note, I was shocked to discover that the Lincoln was the coveted 1970-S small date.  My July 2010 issue of Coin Prices has this listed at an even $100 - and to think when I paid $6.25 for this over a year ago and just now noticed it.  Pictures tomorrow for sure.
