I haven't had much practice taking pictures of coins - so these are not the best in the world. I expect I will get better as time goes on.
Here are a couple of pictures of my 1970-S Jefferson nickels. The one on the left shows what I consider the normal placement of the mintmark, while the one on the right shows the mintmark much lower.
And here is a picture of the 1970-S small date Lincoln cent. It's quite difficult to photograph through a clear, reflective plastic cover - but it is sufficient to see that it is, indeed, the small date.
