Our little Fancy Nancy and Frankenstein had a blast trick-or-treating tonight.  Plenty of sugar for all was gathered.  Best thing about a sugar-hgh?  The inevitable crash as they go to sleep with big grins on their faces.

Wow, what a busy day!

Samuel had his first piano recital - and he did great!  Clarissa had her first play date with a friend from school and had a blast.  The kids' school had their annual fall festival and the kids just loved playing there.  Then we went grocery shopping.  And, I still managed to do my bank runs this morning.

Looks like the car is going back into the shop

The main relay is going out - so sometimes...the car decides that it doesn't want to start.  Not exactly the most reliable mode of transportation at the moment, but we're working on it.

Got sunburned today

Had to go pick her up from school today after she got sick in a trash can and started running fever of over 100 degrees.  So far, I'm the only one that hasn't gotten sick this time around - knock on wood.

Took me a little while to identify this one.  I had to go get a primer on Chinese numerals, then figure out how to read dates.  And here I thought coin collecting was just fun - now I find out it's educational as well.

We've got a Fancy Nancy and a Frankenstein for Halloween this year

The kids loved picking out their costumes.  Then we got home and spent another hour or so making Christmas plans.  I can't wait for the train ride.

Saturday's seem to consist of running to banks and grocery shopping these days.  Good thing I enjoy both.  Everyone else seems to as well.  Samuel not quite as much as everyone else, he doesn't like not being able to run up and down the aisles.

Samuel is finally getting rid of his fever.  So Jane catches it.  So far, only Clarissa and I remain well.  And with me, we all know that well is a relative term  :)

Sick little boy
